Privacy policy

1. Information stored on your device

Game details, rules, photographs, participant names, play dates, results and notes are stored in the app’s local database and image files. They are used to display your collection, search games, record plays and calculate statistics. The app does not require an account or provide an operator-run cloud synchronization service.

The operator does not receive these records automatically. The app does not include their contents in advertising requests. This does not prevent you from voluntarily including information in a support email.

2. Camera, photos and device backups

When you choose to add a photo, the app uses the camera or system photo picker and stores a copy in its own storage. Game cover photos are resized. Your original photo-library images are managed separately. You can manage applicable permissions in your device settings.

Your operating system may include the app’s database and saved images in cloud or computer backups, depending on your settings. Backup storage, restoration and deletion are managed by the relevant platform. The app does not provide its own backup or synchronization service and does not guarantee restoration.

3. Advertising

The app displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Depending on the SDK, settings and your choices, Google may process IP addresses, approximate location derived from IP, device or advertising identifiers, ad interactions and diagnostic information for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. The app does not request precise GPS location.

4. Website and support inquiries

The support and legal-information pages are hosted on GitHub Pages, including when opened inside the app. GitHub records visitors’ IP addresses for security. See the GitHub General Privacy Statement. These pages contain no additional analytics, advertising tags, third-party fonts or embedded contact form.

If you email hetobeco@gmail.com, the operator receives your email address, sender name, message and any attachments you choose to send. Gmail is used to receive and manage these messages. Information is used to respond, investigate problems and handle privacy requests. App records and photographs are not attached automatically. You can use the app without contacting support.

5. Retention and deletion

Saved app data remains in the app’s storage until you remove it or delete the app’s data through your operating system. In-app editing and deletion remove the relevant displayed records; unused participant-name entries may currently remain in the local database. Removing a game also removes its related play records. Image cleanup may be retried if deletion fails. Deleting app data does not automatically delete originals in your photo library or copies in OS backups. Offloading an app may retain its data.

We retain inquiry information for as long as needed to respond and resolve related issues, and delete it when it is no longer needed. Information required to meet legal obligations or address disputes is retained for as long as necessary for those purposes.

You may request deletion of support information by email. The operator cannot remotely inspect or delete records stored only on your device. Data retained by Google, GitHub or your backup provider is governed by the relevant service’s policy and available controls; we do not promise that uninstalling the app deletes it.

6. Sharing, security and processing locations

The operator does not sell saved game records or support emails. Support information is shared with Google to receive and manage email, and otherwise only where necessary to comply with law or protect legal rights. See sections 3 and 4 for advertising and website data processing.

Local data uses your device’s app-storage protections. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Google and GitHub may process information in the United States and other countries outside your country of residence. See their privacy policies linked above for details.

7. Your requests and younger users

You can contact hetobeco@gmail.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information held by the operator, or to ask about other rights under applicable law. Requests are handled subject to applicable conditions and identity checks limited to what is necessary. Information required to answer an inquiry is voluntary, but withholding it may prevent us from investigating the issue.

The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed primarily to children. If you believe a child’s personal information has been sent to the operator, please contact us. We will review the matter and take appropriate action, including deletion where required by applicable law.

8. Changes and contact

When this policy changes, the revised version and effective date will be posted on this page. Additional notice or consent will be provided where required by applicable law.
